I cannot believe our little lovebug is 4 months old today!!! It is almost exactly a year since we found out she'd be joining our family and it has been better than we ever could have imagined.
She is the epitome of a happy baby.
She is still eating at 7, 10, 1, 4, and 6:30 or 7ish and then right down for bed.
She naps in between all of her feedings and our afternoon naps are getting more difficult.
Just this passed week she has started having crying fits out of the blue right before her bedtime feeding.
She'll be happy as a clam and then lose it like she is in pain.
I'm eager for her doctors appointment Friday so I can ask them about it.
I think she weighs about 11.5 lbs and is definitely chunkier!
She's found her hands and is an avid thumb sucker.
Although, she still hasn't quite realized that her hands work when she isn't flat on her back.
She's grabbing anything she can get her hands on (like Mommy's hair).
She tries so hard to put everything she grabs in her mouth.
Livy likes to grab or pet my arm while I change her. It melts my heart.
She has also learned to spit. It's pretty cute but not so lady-like.... and she does it all.the.time.
She occasionally rolls from tummy to back (more like falls) and is trying SO hard to roll from back to tummy. Everyone comments how alert she is. Definitely an observer and wants to be part of the action.
She hates to be held "like a baby." She wants to be up on your shoulder or "standing" in your lap.
She likes to see herself in the mirror and will smile then act shy and hide in your shoulder.
She's recently become a little more fearful of strangers (well, actually anyone who isn't Mommy).
Our favorite milestone has been her learning to laugh!
She just laughed for the first time this weekend at Daddy and Gigi. It is the most precious thing ever.
Update: She's in the 15th percentile for weight (11 lbs 11 oz) and 28th for length (23 3/4 inches).
She has some eczema, but other than that is perfectly healthy and growing well!
We love you lots, Little Bit!
